Although Boas will eat lizards, birds, opossums, rats and squirrels, they are nocturnal hunters that prefer bats. They simply hang from tree branches or cave openings and grab them as they fly by! Boas can be found in a wide variety of ecosystems throughout Latin America, but they prefer the rainforest for its humidity, temperature, natural cover and vast amounts of prey. It’s also a good place to find delicious bats! As long as we can stop people from messing with the rainforests!
