Rhino
11. Rhino — What’s in a name? Rhinoceroses get their name from their most famous feature: their horns. The word rhinoceros comes from the Greek words “rhino,” meaning nose, and “ceros,” meaning horn. This animal’s namesake isn’t made out of bone, as you would think; it’s actually made out of keratin, the same as the hair on your head! With those big horns, rhinos may look indestructible, but their skin is actually quite sensitive, especially to sunburn and biting insects. That's why they like to spend their days wallowing in mud. Sounds like fun, eh!
