8. Great White Shark — My, what big teeth you have! Do you know how many teeth the Great White Shark has? 3,000! They are triangular, razor sharp, and up to 3 inches long! As teeth are lost, broken, or worn down, they are replaced by new teeth. Sharks have some of the most highly developed senses of any creature. Can you guess what their primary sense is? The ability to smell! They can smell a single drop of blood in 25 gallons of water! Great Whites are decreasing in numbers and are rare due to years of being hunted.
