27. Bengal Tiger — With their camouflage stripes, retractable claws, sharp fangs and powerful bodies that can leap up to 30 feet, tigers are able to prey on all other species in the wild and have no natural predators. Although they prefer to hunt hoofed animals, tigers have been known to eat fish, birds and even other predators like leopards or bears. Despite their abilities, tigers are only successful at getting their prey once or twice per twenty attempts. Can you imagine if you only got to eat once for every 20 times you tried? Luckily, they can eat over 80 pounds in one sitting! Due to poaching and habitat loss, with only 5,000 to 7,000 remaining, tigers are one of the most endangered species in the world today.
